Painting wildlife is
fun for me. My
"ALephant" series is
palette knife, which
gives the artwork
loose quality.
I paint very little on
traditional cloth
canvas because of
its delicacy. Most of
my paintings are
created on wooden
canvas, which looks
much like a cloth
canvas but is far
more durable. Wood
is "old school" and
allows me to put
more paint on the
canvas without it
stretching and
warping. Lastly, a
hint of the wood
grain shows
through in my
paintings. This adds
a rustic quality to
my artwork.
This is a small sampling of my current wildlife paintings. Contact me for details.
