I enjoy the outdoors
and recognize the
beauty in nature. As
a young man, I
spent much time in
Colorado, which
originally influenced
my landscape art. I
also appreciate the
serenity in the Blue
Ridge Mountains of
Asheville, NC.

I paint very little on
traditional cloth
canvas because of
its delicacy. Most of
my paintings are
created on wooden
canvas, which looks
much like a cloth
canvas but is far
more durable. Wood
is "old school" and
allows me to put
more paint on the
canvas without it
stretching and
warping. Lastly, a
hint of the wood
grain shows
through in my
paintings. This adds
a rustic quality to
my artwork.

I am a true Colorist at heart, but I am also inspired by simple composition and a lack of color, which
gives my work a timeless feeling. I started this print series with one client, renowned interior decorator
Richard Tubb. The prints I create for Richard are exclusive to him. If you are a decorator who would
like to contract an exclusive line,
contact me.
